At Luminor Aesthetic Clinic, we use Botox®, a trusted and FDA-approved brand, to soften the appearance of fine lines and dynamic wrinkles caused by repetitive facial movements. This treatment targets areas such as:
Frown lines (glabellar lines)
Forehead creases
Crow’s feet (around the eyes)
Bunny lines (sides of the nose)
Smokers lines
Hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating)
Botox® works by temporarily relaxing the tiny muscles that cause lines to form, creating a smoother, fresher appearance—while preserving your natural facial expressions.
What to Expect
The procedure is quick, typically taking 15–30 minutes, with minimal discomfort and no downtime. Results begin to appear within 3 to 5 days, with full effects visible by 2 weeks, lasting approximately 3 to 4 months.
Who Is It For?
Ideal for individuals who want to:
Minimise visible signs of aging
Prevent future lines from deepening
Maintain a youthful appearance
All treatments at Luminor are delivered by Dr. Shristi Shah ensuring the highest standards of safety, technique, and aesthetic judgment.

Botox® is a minimally invasive procedure that requires very little downtime. To ensure optimal results and minimize potential side effects, following the proper aftercare guidelines is essential.
1. Avoid Touching or Massaging the Treated Area
For 24 hours, avoid rubbing, massaging, or pressing on the treated areas. This will help prevent the Botox from spreading to unintended areas and ensure it stays in the targeted muscles.
If you need to clean your face, do so gently without pressing on the injection sites.
2. Stay Upright for the First Few Hours
For at least 4 hours after your Botox treatment, avoid lying down or bending over. This helps prevent the Botox from migrating to unintended areas and ensures it stays localized where it was injected.
3. Avoid Strenuous Exercise
Refrain from vigorous physical activities or exercises for 24 hours after your Botox treatment. Sweating and intense physical movement can affect the way the Botox settles in the muscles.
4. Skip Heat Treatments and Saunas
For 24 hours, avoid exposure to intense heat, such as saunas, hot tubs, or steam rooms, as heat may increase swelling or redness and interfere with the Botox settling into the muscle.
5. No Alcohol for 24 Hours
Avoid consuming alcohol for 24 hours after your treatment. Alcohol can increase the risk of bruising and swelling, so it’s best to refrain from drinking during the first day after Botox.
6. Avoid Anti-inflammatory Medications
Refrain from taking aspirin, ibuprofen, or other anti-inflammatory medications for 24–48 hours, as these can increase the likelihood of bruising. You may take Tylenol (acetaminophen) for any mild discomfort.
7. Gentle Facial Care
For the first few days, avoid using any harsh facial products or exfoliants that could irritate your skin. Stick to gentle, hydrating cleansers and moisturizers.
8. Keep the Treated Area Clean
You can wash your face and apply makeup after 4 hours, but be gentle around the injection sites to avoid disturbing the Botox.
Use mineral-based makeup and avoid applying too much pressure on the treated areas.
9. Be Patient with Results
Botox results will start to show within 3–5 days, but the full effects may take up to 2 weeks to be fully visible.
If you have any concerns or are not seeing the desired results after two weeks, contact us for a follow-up consultation.
10. Avoid Dental Work or Facial Treatments
It’s recommended to avoid any dental work (such as teeth cleaning or dental procedures) or other facial treatments (like facials or massages) for at least 24–48 hours after Botox to avoid movement of the Botox.
